Location: Schiphol Rijk (Amsterdam)
Purpose Statement:
• Test OSS Applications proper functioning independently and together (end-to-end) in order to ensure successful CIO OSS delivery of projects across multiple affiliates.
• Report on testing issues and progress to OSS Test Manager, escalate to Manager OSS Application Services and Project Manager as necessary.

• No direct or indirect reports;
• No budgetary responsibility.
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain and develop automated test scripts to validate provisioning component within OSS portfolio
• Further develop automated test scripts for non-functional testing.
• Support test automation for OSS/BSS test phases.
• Develop and support OSS test framework – reporting, trouble ticketing,
• Test availability and performance of provisioning systems;
• Provide test scenarios and test reporting on test coverage, including risk analysis;
• Maintain, develop and support operating standards and procedures;
• Ensure relevant processes are followed (Defect Tracking and Resolution, Change Control and others);
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers, other inter-company testing teams and customers.

• Sits within the CIO department – location Schiphol Rijk.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Proficient in Visual Basic, JavaScript,
• Working knowledge of Perl, Java, PHP.
• Proficiency and proven experience in Quick Test Professional or other record and playback applications.
• Proficiency and proven experience in Quality Centre or other test management tool such as Testlink or Bugzilla.
• Experience with Sun Solaris, Apache Web Server, Oracle, Web Logic is an advantage
• 2-3 years Unix (ideal in Telco or ISP) experience.
• Experience with all testing types: black box, integration, functional, performance, regression, ORT, load-testing, etc;
• Experience in Version Control
• Experience with XML, LDAP, SOAP, Web technologies
• Exposure to various quality & testing methodologies: CMM, TPI, SPICE, TMI, Tmap, etc;
• Experience in multi-location and multi-vendor integration testing projects.
• Experience with CRM and provisioning systems.
• Strong self-motivational skills and good communication skills;
• Team player of flexible nature; experience in an international dynamic environment is an advantage;
Key Measures:
- Number of test cycles;
- Number of test cases per release
- Number of automated test scripts.
- Notable reduction of regression testing times.
